What all documents are required for NGOs to create a campaign under this partnership and offer US and UK tax exemptions to international donors?

Indian NGOs who have valid FCRA registration must either obtain Gold or Platinum certification from Guidestar India or complete the due diligence application process on GlobalGiving’s website here.

Documents required for GlobalGiving due diligence are as follows:

If your documents are not in English, you will also be asked to provide English translations; we accept unofficial translations, including those made with Google Translate

  • Program materials
  • Letter of reference
  • Certificate of government registration (eg. Section 12A, Section 80G, FCRA)
  • Founding document (with dissolution clause) (eg. Trust Deed, Memorandum or Articles of Association for Society or Section 8/25 Company)
  • Financial documents (2 years of financial statements and a current year budget)
  • Disbursement information (domestic and FCRA bank account information including account number, IFSC code, SWIFT code)
  • Names of senior staff and board members
  • Terms and Conditions (signed copy of the GlobalGiving terms and conditions)

Please note that even though your fundraiser can be started within a few minutes and you can start receiving funds immediately, US and UK tax exemption payment options will not be enabled until you have completed the due diligence process and Impact Guru team has communicated the completion of the process to you.
